| Bayou Elite and Crusader Wrestling clubs to host tournaments for younger wrestlers this season |

Entry fee per contestant is $10. Admission fees are $7.00 for
adults, $5.00 for children (6-12) and free for children under five
years-of-age.Bayou Elite Wrestling club is bringing a new and exciting series of
tournaments which allows younger wrestlers of Bantam, Intermediate and
Novice age classes an opportunity to compete in Louisiana. The
three tournaments will consist of the Tiger Open, Lion Open, and Bayou Elite
Classic. The tournaments will be held and hosted by Bayou Elite Wrestling Club
at Holy Cross High School. In each tournament the top three place-winners
will receive a medal, with the tournament champion receiving an event-themed
medal. Junior High tournaments will also be held at the Tiger and Lion
Opens. All participants must bring their USA Wrestling Card. The events will follow the 2016-17 folkstyle rules in accordance with each division. All events will be held at Holy Cross High School, located at 5500 Paris Road in New Orleans. Coaches meetings are scheduled to start at 7:50 a.m. and wrestling is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. |
